Behind the Stitching

I’m Lauren, the owner and embroiderer of Adore Wild Embroidery. I’m a mom of two girls, based in Virginia, where I create embroidered pieces inspired by family, travel, and everyday adventures.

The name Adore Wild begins with my daughters. AWE is the monogram they both share and the initials of Adore Wild Embroidery. Having that connection built into the name makes this business especially personal to me.

My girls are free spirited, adventurous, and curious about the world around them. They remind me of wildflowers, each growing in their own way. I’m raising them to explore, be themselves, and try new things, while always being rooted in kindness. That’s the meaning behind “wild” and the feeling I want to carry into this shop.

As a family, we love beach days, time outside, and discovering new places. Those experiences inspire my collections, along with the everyday moments, family traditions, and people worth celebrating.

I love how embroidery can take something simple and make it feel personal. The texture of the thread, a carefully chosen color, or a familiar name can turn an everyday piece into something you reach for again and again.

I embroider each piece here in Virginia and choose garments with comfort and repeat wear in mind. I pay attention to both the clothing and the stitching because quality is important.

My goal is to make the sweatshirt you pack for another trip, the shirt your child keeps choosing, or the personalized gift that gets used and loved. Pieces made for everyday life, with details worth keeping.
